On the occasion of Pakistan Independence Day, Prime Minister Imran Khan said in his address in Pakistan-administered Kashmir that he wants to send a message to Narendra Modi that "If you take action, we will answer the brick with stones."
He said India could 'take action' in Pakistan-administered Kashmir to divert attention from the atrocities in Kashmir.
The Prime Minister said that Pakistan is raising the Kashmir issue in front of the UN and now it is up to the UN how it will implement the Kashmir resolutions.

Pakistan Army spokesman Major General Asif Ghafoor, on the other hand, tweeted the statement of Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, in which he said, "We will stand up to oppression regardless of the consequences."
He said that the Pakistani army is fully prepared to play its role in the Kashmir cause.
